Sofie Reyez begs her stepdad Scott, the manager of a well-known baseball team, to get her a pass to the World Series season-finale game. She is, regrettably, grounded, and Scott is reluctant to let her go. However, Sofie observes that her mother, Vivianne DeSilva, receives from her husband whatever she desires without any resistance. She quickly realizes that in order to get the ticket, she will need to perform the same tasks for her stepdad as her mother does for her. Sofie sneaks up to Vivianne and Scott’s beds one night while they are fast asleep and wakes her stepdad to give him something that will undoubtedly satisfy her desires.
